Real time PCR service

Usually array result needs to be validated by different platforms. Hence, we provide the total solution from array to data validation service. The platform we perform for data validation is real-tome PCR. Currently we use Roche lightcycle (Roche Diagnostics) for the quantitative measurement.


Type of specimens are:
1. DNA: to detect the chromosome aberrations
2. RNA: to measure the gene expression profile

Currently we provide the chemistry are listed as followed¡G
1. SYBR assay
2. Taqman assay (ABI¡¦s catalog)





For the each PCR experiment, we¡¦ll perform primer QC. In the process, all the PCR products are confirmed by capillary electrophoresis (DNA1000 chip, Agilent Technologies) run on 2100 Bioanalyzer (as shown in the figure below). After this confirmation, the primer sets will be performed for the real-time PCR measurement. Primer set of mismatch in the length check (the DNA band pointed by red arrow in the figure shown below) would be retired, and re-designed to pass the QC examination.

The uniqueness of our PCR service includes:

DNA¡GDNA quantity and purity are measured by
OD260/280
RNA¡GRNA quantity and purity are measured by OD260/280measurement DNA quantity and purity by OD260/280, and the RNA integrity is profiled by 2100 Bioanalyzer.

QC of each primer set: as the description above, the product length of each primer set is confirmed by capillary electrophoresis.

Each specimen is measured triplicates.
